The project delivers high impact as a cozy and intimate neighborhood backyard, and provides a thoughtful framework for future interventions in dense, urban neighborhoods. The intricate paving pattern of the "rugs" provides an additional layer of texture and richness to the experience, both from looking at it from above as well as an on-the-ground experience. Additionally, the project seamlessly integrates storm water management, soil regeneration and other ecological benefits into the project without overshadowing the design concept and user experience.
