The jury noted: 

This project exemplifies sensitive shoreline restoration rooted in respect for site conditions and ecological resilience. The reuse of local granite and adaptive plantings grounds the design in place while restoring habitat and stabilizing eroded slopes, turning a degraded edge into a model of lakeside stewardship.
